Master Grower

Shane is the founder of OGVT and is our master grower. He has been a part of the legacy market in some capacity for over 20 years and has been cultivating for over 10. He is our dreamer and is the reason that we started this venture. Shane spent many years out west learning the trade and leading multiples grows on his own in the Santa Cruz Mountains. He has been waiting many years to be able to come home so that he can legally participate in his vocation and trade. He has a true passion for growing the plant and studying the soil. He is always looking to learn and shows such humility in his trade. The legacy market seemed to breed this need for posturing and arrogance around the trade, but Shane’s nature is so naturally one of humility and love. He’s also a talented hip hop MC and is constantly rhyming in the gardens, so keep your ears out for Buds n Bars!

Owner

Jesse J is the founder and co-owner of OGVT, and literally steers this ship! She is the the glue that holds it all together. With a wild legacy grower as the dreamer, she is the one who made it a reality. With an attention to detail, there is nothing in this business that she does not do. From attending every CCB meeting, to locking in a permit, to getting her hands dirty in the field, to printing all of our labels, she literally does it all. As a 3rd generation cannabis farmer, it’s literally in her blood. This ship of fools that is OGVT quite literally would not have left the harbor without her at the helm.

Owner

Dave is part owner in OGVT and was the very first person to believe in our vision and immediately offered to help make it a reality by funding OGO in Maine and now OGVT in Vermont. He not only got the business off the ground with his financial support but offered the use of his land when our property sale fell through during the crazy housing market spike. He jumped straight into work preparing the fields before Shane & Jesse officially made their move back home to Vermont. He’s been working everyday since taking on the absolute initiation by fire into cannabis cultivation. Even on Daves bad days he’s enjoyable to be around. A man with old school values and hard work. He somehow manages to bring the young energy to our work life with his wit and imagination. He’s a retired wood shop teacher from the Woodstock school district and is known locally as Mr. Mc. The locals can attest that he’s a man anyone would be lucky to call partner.
